We were given more time (one week) to "re-do" our wiki, so my group mates and I used the remaining lesson time to do "re-do" our assignment 2.

the resources that I have found in my practical 6a & 6b,
hmm...I somehow find it relatively useful, i gain further knowledge from those site
(although I have done this topic for my assignment 1.:)),
knowing more about the usage of 2FA in Asia banking from one of the website found.

Lastly, the group activity is about compiling all resources that the group members has found and cite these resources according to APA citation style. I felt that bibliography is quite useful to us as it allows us to know how to retrieve the research information that we have found and the date it has been done, the author and etc.

Another eLearning week, this week we have got 2 tasks to complete.
First, we have to accessUIR-Rawks Wike and share our experience and reflection on searching, blogging and participate in discussion forums.

For this activity, I refer to my assignment 2 questions and using the 2 internet resources that I have found while doing practical 6a and 6b.
Basically, it’s about posting stuffs related to the topic that we have chosen for our assignment 2. After doing research for this assignment, I found that there are already a number of banks across Asia that has adopted 2FA in banking, and 2FA does do more beneficiary than harm to the banking industry.

I realize that Wikis allow us to communicate on projects without meeting-ups with my group mates, it allow us to edit our work to beautify it, add more information. Also, group member’s contributions to the group work are accumulated by the number of words typed in the content area.

Hi folks, this week is eLearning week, which means...
doing work (practical 6b) independently, reading up lecture notes and doing practical at HOME.

I find this week’s task is similar to practical 6a, we have to find another internet resource and evaluate on them.

Not only that, I have participate on the online (OLE) discussion board, the question on how Internet has enriched your academic life, at least one internet resource that I have learnt in UIR and how it enriched my academic life.

Indeed internet is a very important tool for us nowadays, we can do many things online, such as, doing work for research, communicate through Messenger and many more…

And, I have also signed up an internet discussion forum related to my group's topic, http://forums.keeptouch.net/; I joined into a discussion topic on 2FA for OCBC Internet Banking and post a question on the 3 types of tokens. Soon, I get responses from people.

Here comes assignment 2 after submission of assignment 1 and class test 1.
The group has decided to do on the topic, “discuss the usage of 2FA in the banking industry.”
Using Google as my search facility and research keywords “Practice OR habit AND “2FA” AND Banking”, I have found the following:
Title of the internet resource, NetAsia,

Purpose of the website is stated clearly, it gives an explanation of why 2FA is needed in banking industry and how banks instruct their customers on how to prevent online transaction from fraud using a list of frequently-asked questions. Also, the site covers that online transaction in Singapore increases ever since the banks have introduced 2FA. Not only that, it includes the usage of 2FA in Asia’s Banks and their 2FA choices. These banks include DBS, Citibank, OCBC, Standard Chartered, UBS and UOB.

There are links provided at the top right corner of the article, one of which links to another article that is related to 2FA, “The other side of 2FA“which I finds that it is useful to Banks to let them know that beside the negative side of adopting 2FA, which is cost, think of the advantage that 2FA bought to customer.
